Alongside her Board Director role at Food Agility, Michele is currently Chair of the Boards of Charles Sturt University, Wine Australia, SmartSat CRC, Defence CRC Trusted Autonomous Systems Chair of the Advisory Council of the Australian Agrifood Data Exchange. She is a nonexecutive director of CSIRO, Dairy Food Safety Victoria, MJ Chicken. Until 2008, she was CEO/MD of a listed food manufacturer and marketer. Prior to that role, she was Group General Manager Risk and Sustainability for Amcor Limited, General Manager of Amcor Research and Technology. She held executive roles with Kraft Foods, Bonlac Foods Limited, ICI, Tasmanian Bioinformatics Centre of Excellence Tasmania, Johnson and Johnson and Nestle.
She has a distinguished academic career with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Biomedical) from University of Technology Sydney, Master of Management of Technology from Melbourne University, Master of Commercial Law from Deakin University and Doctor of Business Administration from RMIT. She is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. A member of the Order of Australia.
