Alongside her Board Director role at Food Agility, Michele is currently Chair of the Boards of Apple and Pear Australia Limited, Charles Sturt University and Meat and Livestock Australia. She is a non-executive director of Innovation and Science Australia, CSIRO, Food and Agribusiness Growth Centre, Nuffield Australia and Grain Growers Limited. Until 2008, she was CEO/MD of a listed food manufacturer and marketer. Prior to that role, she was Group General Manager Risk and Sustainability for Amcor Limited, General Manager of Amcor Research and Technology. She held executive roles with Kraft Foods, Bonlac Foods Limited, ICI, Tasmanian Bioinformatics Centre of Excellence Tasmania, Johnson and Johnson and Nestle. She has a distinguished academic career with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Biomedical) from University of Technology Sydney, Master of Management of Technology from Melbourne University, Master Commercial Law Deakin University and Doctorate from RMIT in advanced strategy. She is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a professional member of the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology and Fellow of Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering.
