Emily grew up on a sheep and beef farm in the New England region of NSW and after graduating from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Arts (Broadcast Journalism).
She has been based in Wagga Wagga since 2001 and has worked with the ABC, winning the NSW Farmers Association Mackellar Media Award for radio broadcast in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
